THE PROMISE OF IOWA

The annual junior-senior prom meeting was held on February 1, 2024, at 7:00 p.m. in the Sibley – Ocheyedan High School Auditorium. The prom meeting was for the junior class and their parents to get an update on how the planning process for prom is going. The prom sponsor, Mrs. Meggan Block, discussed gym decorating, fundraising sales, after prom, and an update on different committees.
Something new this year is the location of after prom. After prom, this year is going to be at Air Madness in Harrisburg, South Dakota. The activities at Air Madness will be professional entertainment, the jump park, bowling, the modern arcade, and ax throwing. There will also be pizza and drinks provided for those who attend after prom.
This year’s prom theme is The 70s. Prom will be on April 13, 2024, with the grand march starting at 5:00 p.m. There also will be a dinner, dance, and prizes before they get on a bus and leave for after prom.
