The dance team K – 8 clinic performed during the varsity boy’s halftime on February 6, 2024.
The S – O Cheer Team held practice on Wednesday, January 17, 2024, from 2:30 pm to 4:30 pm. Forty-eight elementary and middle school-aged students participated in the clinic. Cheer coach Janaya Horstman stated, “The goal of having the participants perform, was to show the community what they had learned at the practice and to help them gain confidence in being in front of people.” Freshmen cheerleader Isabella Gemar exclaimed, “I had a blast teaching the K – 1 grade their cheers. They were a fun group to have.” The cheer team performed 4 of the cheers that they learned.
The girls for the dance clinic practiced on February 6, 2024. The team had forty-two K – 8 girls participate. Dance team member Cora Reuter stated, “Our goal of having this clinic is to get the girls interested in the dance team to later have them become a member of the team.” They plan to have three groups learn and perform a dance mashup.
