About Sibley-Ocheyedan Middle School

The middle school is home to students in 5th-8th grade. We have three sections of each class level and range between 50-70 students per grade. All students in middle school are taught the following core classes: Reading, Math, Science, Social Studies, English, and Business/Technology. We also offer a variety of elective courses such as Family Consumer Science, FFA, Art, STEM, Careers, Health, Industrial Tech, and Algebra. Our middle school ensures that your child is safe, offering a rigorous academic track, and producing 21st century citizens. The Middle School is currently a 1:1 school on campus for the 7th-8th grade. We plan on adding the 5th-6th grade in the near future. This means that while students are on campus, they each have their own Chromebook to use for classroom assignments, research, etc. Students will use and be exposed daily to various technologies (computers, interactive whiteboards, iPods, iPads, email, etc.) They will be digital thinkers who can create, communicate, and collaborate.
