About Sibley-Ocheyedan Middle School
The middle school is home to students in 5th-8th grade. We have two sections of each class level and range between 40-60 students per grade. All students in middle school take the following classes: Reading, Math, Science, Social Studies, English, Art, Guidance, and Business/Technology. Students in Fifth and Sixth grades have general/vocal music. All students in middle school have the option to participate in band. Seventh and Eighth grades have a variety of rotating courses: Family Consumer Science, FFA, STEM, Careers, Health, Industrial Tech, and Algebra. The Middle School is currently a 1:1 school on campus for the 5th-8th grade. This means that each student has their own Chromebook to use for classroom assignments, research, etc. Middle School offers students (7th and 8th grades) extra curricular activities, such as football, volleyball, wrestling, basketball, track, shooting sports, cross country, softball, and baseball. Fifth and Sixth graders can join shooting sports.
