Homecoming 2017

This year Kerry Krogman and Maria Mans are organizing homecoming. Homecoming will take place the week of September 11-15 with the parade and Homecoming game on Friday, September 15. We would like to take a moment to inform you of a few changes happening this year.

First off, the parade route will begin at the funeral homes and end at U.S. Bank. This is to ensure that students are able to participate in all of their activities. They can march in band, ride the volleyball float, the NHS float, the Pep Club float, the FFA float rather than choosing one of these to participate in. PreK-8th grade will also participate in the parade; we wanted to get the elementary kids involved with the parade as well. PreK-4th grade will walk, and the 5-8th grade students are invited to decorate their bikes and ride them through the parade.

Please make sure your vehicle is removed from these blocks of downtown between 12:30 and 1:00. The parade will begin promptly at 2:00.

Secondly, we would like to invite the community to attend a rally bonfire following coronation Tuesday night. The Football cheerleaders will lead a few cheers and Coach Spooner will give a speech. Let’s cheer on our Generals as a community.

Last year a few businesses participated in the high school dress up days. We would love for more businesses, and customers as well, to participate in the dress up days. Please post pictures on your facebook page or send them to the high school. We want to see your creativity and school spirit!

Dress up Day Schedule
Monday: 1970s Attire
Tuesday: Singer/Rapper Day
Wednesday: Paparazzi Day
Thursday: Favorite Teacher Day
Friday: Generals’ Pride – Black and Orange

We would like to thank the downtown businesses for allowing students to paint on your windows. We promise students will clean your windows well!

Thank you for all of your support!

Go Generals!!!
