THE PROMISE OF IOWA

The first practice for the girl’s basketball team was held on November 5, 2018. The coaches are Mr. Henry Eekhoff for the varsity team and Ally Prins for the junior varsity and freshman teams. There are about 16 girls total out for basketball this year. During the first practice, they ran so much that some ended up getting sick. The basketball team also worked on offense. Practices will be held every day after school in the high school gym. Their first scrimmage will be on November 10, 2018. The first Lady Generals basketball game will be home on November 20, 2018, against Central Lyon (Rock Rapids).
