One of the most famous Christmas movies is The Nightmare Before Christmas. This movie was released in 1993 and is still loved by many today. Though many do question if the movie is more a Halloween or Christmas film because the movie shows both holidays. In this movie, Jack Skellington (the main character) stumbles upon Christmastown and then plots to take over the role of Christmas; to do this he plans on kidnapping Santa Claus. This Tim Burton film takes a step away from the scare-and-scream routine and shows Pumpkin King Jack Skellington spreading the Christmas spirit.
