On Friday, May 10, 2019, the Sibley-Ocheyedan Future Farmers of America (FFA) will host a blood drive in the high school gymnasium beginning at 8 am and ending at 3 pm, with one dinner break. The event is part of the Community Blood Bank drive.
In order to be eligible to donate, individuals must be at least 17 years old. They can be 16 with a parent or legal guardian signature on the form available at www.cbblifeblood.org. To donate on the day of the drive, individuals must bring a valid ID to verify age. Donors must weigh at least 110 pounds and be in generally good health.
Persons participating are encouraged to make sure they eat a good meal and drink plenty of water prior to donating. For additional information, visit the website indicated above, or call (877) 877-3070.
