THE PROMISE OF IOWA

On April 28, 2022, the Sibley – Ocheyedan Art Club traveled to Sheldon to go to the NCC Art Showcase. The students that went included: Kristina Habben, Emma Jacobsma, Stephanie Medina, Emely Monzon, Grace Nasers, Jaci Van Westen, Alayna Wingate, and Xander Miller.
The members submitted their pieces. Grace Nasers was awarded third place for her piece Hollywood. The other schools that attended were: Sheldon, Rock Valley, Central Lyon, MMCRU, Boyden Hull, Sioux Center, MOC Floyd Valley, Western Christian, and South O’Brien.
There was an Art Show hosted by Sibley – Ocheyden in the high school commons on May 3. It began at 6:00 p.m. and the pieces included were from fellow art students.
